Mike DiBiase

Mike DiBiase is the Lead Editor of Stansberry’s Credit Opportunities—a bond investment advisory newsletter published by Stansberry Research. He is also a Senior Analyst and Contributor to Stansberry Research’s flagship research newsletter, Stansberry’s Investment Advisory. He is an expert at analyzing vast amounts of data and does much of the number crunching for Stansberry Data, a service of Stansberry’s Investment Advisory.

In his work for Stansberry Research, he reads and interprets SEC documents and is one of the key resources in the company for analyzing complex accounting issues.

Prior to joining Stansberry Research in 2014, DiBiase accumulated 19 years of experience in the world of finance and accounting. He most recently served as VP of Finance and Planning for Verint Systems (formerly Witness Systems), a large publicly traded software company. He was responsible for, among other things, financial analysis and reporting, budgeting, mergers and acquisitions due diligence, preparation of SEC documents, the board of director presentations, and quarterly conference call scripts. During his tenure, the company grew from $40 million US in revenue to over $1 billion US. Prior to that, he spent five years in public accounting auditing companies and prepared income tax returns, including working for one of the “Big Four” international accounting firms.

DiBiase is a former CPA and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Accounting from Florida International University in Miami.
